State Requirements for Teacher Licensure Renewal : Arizona

Renewal: Renewal of a Standard Teaching or Administrative certificate requires proof of 15 clock hours of professional development per year of certification. One semester credit of college coursework is equivalent to 15 clock hours of professional development activities. A 6-year certificate requires 90 professional development hours (6 semester credits). Educators can use a combination of professional development clock hours and college semester credits for renewal.
